NEWS - Tracy Leeke, Law Society Children Panel Accreditation

Emery Johnson Astills are extremely pleased to announce that Tracy Leeke, who is a solicitor within our care department, is now an accredited member of the Law Society’s Children Panel.

Tracy joined Emery Johnson Astills in November 2016 and her experience and expertise in children law is an asset to the firm. Tracy has built trusting relationships with both existing and new clients. It is an exciting next step for Tracy for her expertise in children law to be recognised by the Law Society’s accreditation scheme.

The Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation covers all types of children law work, including representing children and young people within Court proceedings either directly or through their Court appointed Children’s Guardian. Tracy has been through a rigorous process to become accredited, including mandatory training and an interview / case study assessment.

Law Society Accredited Children Solicitors are specialists in dealing with the areas of law relating to children. They can help with matters including (but not limited to):

• Working out arrangements for children following family breakdowns, where the child is separately represented within the Court proceedings,
• If social services become involved with your family through child protection issues,
• Adoption,
• Your rights to see your children.

Here at Emery Johnson Astills we have a specialist care department who are experts in child care law and can advise, assist and represent you throughout your involvement with Social Services. Our care department are approachable and will discuss with you in detail about the assistance we can provide you. We will assess you for free legal advice through Legal Aid as in many cases, free legal advice can be obtained.
