We are still here for you

  • Posted

The Care Team at Johnson Astills has had to make a few changes this week. On Tuesday 24th March 2020, our Leicester and Loughborough offices closed temporarily following Government guidance relating to the Coronavirus (Covid-19).

However, we would like to reassure you that we remain fully operational and our phone lines remain open.

Our Solicitors, Trainee Solicitors and Paralegals are now working remotely from home and are continuing to represent existing as well as new clients at Court, Child Protection Conferences, Pre-Proceeding Meetings, Notice of Intention to Issue Meetings and Looked After Child Reviews.

The Family Court has issued guidance in respect of Covid-19. Solicitors and Barristers will be representing their clients remotely via Skype or video conferencing. It is essential that our justice system continues.

Leicester City Council and Leicestershire County Council are now holding Child Protection Conferences, Pre-Proceeding Meetings, Notice of Intention to Issue Meetings and Looked After Child Reviews, either via Skype or video conferencing or requesting that we dial in by phone.

Whatever the method, please be reassured that we are here for you. We are just operating a bit differently.

We are continuing to communicate with our clients by phone and email. We will not be arranging any appointments to take place at our offices.

If you are an existing client and have a Court hearing and/or Conference, Pre-Proceedings Meeting or Notice of Intention to Issue Meeting coming up and are unsure about what to do, please get in contact with us in the usual way.

If you are a new client and have been informed about hearing and/or Conference, Pre-Proceedings Meeting or Notice of Intention to Issue Meeting, you can contact us on 0116 255 4855 or 01509 610312 or email us at careteam@johnsonastills.com.

Stay safe and follow Government guidelines.
