Fee for Grant of Representation

From 17th November 2025, the fees for obtaining copies of Grants of Representation which are; a Grant of Probate, Grant of Letters of Administration with Will Annexed or Letters of Administration has increased from £1.50 per copy to £16.00 per copy.

A copy is often required when dealing with assets when someone has died as you must ensure that you have sufficient copies to deal with the various assets of the estate. If you would like some further information on what a Grant of Representation is, you can find out here.
