Lucy-Ann Lee – Trainee Solicitor

Lucy-Ann obtained her Law degree from De Montfort University in 2023 and joined Johnson Astills in the same year as a Paralegal in the Crime Team. She obtained her Police Station Accreditation in May 2024, enabling her to represent and provide legal advice to clients at the police station.

Lucy-Ann commenced her Training Contract in October 2025, completing a seat in the Wills and Probate Team before moving to the Care Team, where she provides support to the Care Team in relation to all aspects of Childcare Law including:

Pre-proceedings advice where Social Services are holding a Child Protection Conference or Pre-Proceedings Meeting

  • Advice regarding Section 20 Children Act 1989
  • Advice to family members regarding a negative assessment completed by Social Services in relation to a family member’s ability to care for a child
  • Care and Supervision Orders
  • Placement Orders and Adoption
