Sajeela Hussain – Associate Solicitor

Sajeela joined Johnson Astills in 2008 as a paralegal. She secured and completed her training contract and qualified as a Solicitor in 2012 and became a Duty Solicitor in 2013. Sajeela left the firm in 2019 and returned in 2026 as an Associate Solicitor

Sajeela attended Derby University where she obtained a degree in Law and Sociology in 2003. In 2006 Sajeela completed the Graduate Diploma in law and the Legal Practice Course in 2007.

Sajeela is an experienced Advocate, regularly providing representation at the Magistrates court and Youth Court. Sajeela also provides advice and assistance at the Police Station.

Sajeela specialises in all aspects of Criminal Defence including:

Burglary and Theft

Drug Offences
Offences against Public Justice
Road Traffic Offences

Sajeela is fluent in, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi
