Victoria studied at Aberdeen University obtaining a BA Hons in English Literature degree in 1990. She went onto complete the Legal Practice Course in 1998 and qualified as a solicitor in 2000, specialising in Family Law. Victoria is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Finance, Private Children Law and domestic abuse albeit her main specialism is financial resolution. She joined Johnson Astills in October 2023.

Victoria specialises in all aspects of relationship breakdown and arrangements for children including:

Divorce, judicial separation and dissolution of civil partnerships
Financial settlements on divorce and between unmarried couples
Financial settlements involving high value assets and/or businesses
Complex Children Act cases including arrangements for children including parental responsibility orders, child arrangements orders, specific issues orders and prohibited steps orders
