Fixed Fee Initial Consultation
Wondering where to start?
Our fixed fee consultation is your chance to speak to our experts about your situation, have your questions answered and find out what you need to do next. It can cover a range of matters from divorce and separation to pre nuptial and post nuptial agreements, children disputes and domestic violence Provided we know in advance what the problem is we can make sure your appointment is with a solicitor who has expertise in that area.
We offer an initial meeting with one of our friendly, expert solicitors for a fixed price of £240 (inc VAT).
This initial consultation can be over the phone, via video conferencing or in person (where appropriate in line with current government COVID-19 guidelines).
What happens during your consultation?
Your initial consultation is your chance to:
- Tell us about your situation
- Explain what you hope to achieve
- Discuss any particular areas of concern
- Ask any questions you have about the process
We are happy for you to email us before your appointment if you feel it may be easier to explain your position

We aim to give you clear guidance on:

- How the legal process works
- What outcome you are looking to achieve
- The likely costs involved in dealing with your matter
- Other options that might be available to you which do not involve a solicitor
- Timescales to resolve your matter
- The next steps you need to take
What happens after your initial consultation?
We will write to you with a summary of those matters we have discussed so you are clear about the advise you have received. You will be under no obligation to go ahead with us.

We ask that you pay for your initial consultation in advance.
If you go on to use any of our other fixed fee services, we will agree timings for payment in instalments as appropriate.
